Does Copper Creek participate in price escalation regarding new home construction in Grand Junction?
Copper Creek Builders does not participate in price escalation. When other companies do price escalations you'll have a purchase price with an additional clause that says if you close on the home in a certain time frame then you are subject to a percentage increase on your purchase price. Under these circumstances, it is hard to know where the bottom line on the price you will have to pay is.
We wanted to let you see the backside of our townhome project here at Copper Creek. There have been a lot of work trucks back here and construction is in full swing, so it's not quite safe to do walkthroughs in this area yet. The open area behind the duplexes will likely be a retention/grassy area almost like a park field. The duplexes will be coming down the line soon, but we do still have available townhomes.
