Today we are visiting Cold Shivers Point on the Colorado National Monument to talk about some of the exciting and adventurous things you can do up there. Cold Shivers Point is only about a twelve-minute drive from town. It is practically in your backyard! There are many breathtaking views of the Monument of the city (especially at night) and the colorful canyons. If you are an avid hiker or mountain biker there are plenty of harder trails you can take, or if you are a beginner or just want an easy, relaxing hike there are plenty of trails for that as well. You may even get to see some of the wildlife! This is one of the many reasons Grand Junction, Colorado is a great place to call home.
